Conceptu Maris at the Science Festival

LIFE Conceptu Maris could not be missing from the 2022 edition of the Genoa Science Festival, one of the most important events in Europe for the promotion of scientific culture.

On Sunday 23 October, in fact, at the auditorium of the Galata Museo del Mare, the meeting “Attention, DNA at sea!” in which it will explain why the researchers have tracked down the cetaceans and turtles of the Mediterranean and what cutting-edge technologies (including environmental DNA) they are using to identify these beautiful animals in the open sea.

Francesco Tomasinelli of Triton Research, partner responsible for communication of Conceptu Maris, will moderate the conference in which Antonella Arcangeli, researcher Ispra Institute of Environmental Protection and Research and scientific coordinator of the project, Paola Tepsich, researcher of CIMA Research Foundation (International Center for Monitoring Ambientale), and Elena Valsecchi, molecular ecologist at the University of Milan-Bicocca.
