LIFE Conceptu Maris is a particularly complex project that has been collecting data at sea since 2022 and is only now able to reach truly meaningful conclusions.
For this reason, the initial 10-minute documentary released in 2023, Defending the Giants of the Mediterranean, has now been complemented by a more comprehensive video: Without Borders, with a runtime of 20 minutes.
This update includes data collected through the end of 2024 and the most recent analyses conducted in spring–summer 2025.
The documentary revisits all the key aspects of the project, starting with the citizen science activities, which immediately captured the public’s interest.
