LIFE Conceptu Maris photo contest kicks off

An acrobatic striped dolphin dancing in front of the bow of a boat, a sea turtle struggling with a line around a flipper, the majestic tail of a sperm whale diving…
Until midnight on 25 September, those who photograph the beauty of our sea can take part in the photo contest “Deep blue. Whales, dolphins, and turtles offshore”, linked to LIFE Conceptu Maris.

The initiative is aimed at all those who, during a sailing trip or on a day dedicated to whale watching, can tell with a snapshot of the beauty of the biodiversity that can still be found in the Mediterranean. And those embarking on one of the ferries covering the Naples-Palermo and Cagliari-Palermo routes in the next few weeks could meet the scientific teams of Conceptu Maris, who will be on hand to share the project’s objectives but also give useful tips on how to spot cetaceans and turtles during the routes. Marine-themed books, T-shirts and gadgets related to the project are up for grabs.
